The decimal system - fractional amounts

When dealing with partial values less than 1, then the columns of the normal decimal system are extended rightwards after a decimal point. The columns based on negative powers of ten:

0.11/10 , or 10-1
0.011/100 , or 10-2
0.0011/1000 , or 10-3
0.00011/10000 , or 10-4
0.000011/100000 , or 10-5
0.0000011/1000000 , or 10-6
0.00000011/10000000 , or 10-7

The English names for these fractions of powers of 10 are :
